Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas is
the third largest cruise ship in the
world ( less than 1 ft shorter than both
its sister ships the Allure and
Harmony of the Seas). It is part of the
Oasis-Class, which will consist of 4 ships
in 2018 ( Oasis of the Seas, Allure of the
Seas, Harmony of the Seas, and
Symphony of the Seas). Oasis-Class ships are unlike any other ships in the world. Its innovative design allowed open-air spaces in the middle of the ship on lower decks: The Broadway and the Central Park. The Oasis of the Seas
is incomparable in terms of the amount and variety of both
restaurants and entertainment venues. Furthermore, it
offers numerous sporting facilities on its Sports Deck and
six (!) outdoor pools, each one with its very own purpose
(Sports Pool, Beach Pool, Kids Area, ...).
However, with its over 2000 staterooms it can
accommodate up to 6,296 passengers. These crowds are
clearly visible on embarkation day and at the buffet
restaurants ... Check out our Tips to avoid these crowds below.
